Soneira discovered that the Lumia 900’s screen managed to sidestep the problem with the ClearBlack display and “circularly polarized” glare-suppressing optics. He adds that the screen reflectance that was measured on the device was just 4.4% which is reportedly lower than the iPhone 4 by 40%. Only one other phone reached that same low level of reflectance as the Lumia 900 and that was the Samsung Galaxy S.

The message here is that the phone and tablet screens with lower reflectance appear brighter and clearer to read indoors. Although it might a shock to some of us that specs aren’t everything, it would be good to reflect (pardon the pun) on this piece of information when we purchase either a tablet or smartphone in the future.

Salariile softiştilor din vestul ţării sfidează criza: 2.000 € net/lună

Cel mai mare salariu pe care îl poate obţine un angajat dintr-o companie de software din vestul ţării este de 2.600 de euro brut/lună, aceasta fiind remuneraţia primită de un software architect din regiune, potrivit studiului salarial şi de beneficii AIMS Salary Map IT realizat în perioada februarie -martie 2012 pe un eşantion de 4.500 de angajaţi din Timişoara, Cluj, Sibiu şi Braşov.

“2012 este un an de normalitate pentru dezvoltatorii software. Circa 93% din companiile participante la studiu au declarat că intenţionează să crească salariile angajaţilor, cu un procent mediu de 7,5%”, a spus Şerban Mrejeru, senior consultant în cadrul firmei AIMS Executive& Consulting România.
